My Dad: Oh, I was looking through some of the old photos we had from our film camera and you know what? I didn't realize it before, but it seemed like you had talent. We never really thought you did. I was surprised because you're a girl and I always assumed men were better at photography, you know?

Me: THANKS DAD.

It’s difficult to describe in words how I’ve been feeling lately. I wish I could tell you, but I wouldn’t even know where to begin.

"The simplest way that I can describe it is that a movie is something you see, and cinema is something that’s made…. Cinema is a specificity of vision. It’s an approach in which everything matters. It’s the polar opposite of generic or arbitrary and the result is as unique as a signature or a fingerprint. It isn’t made by a committee, and it isn’t made by a company, and it isn’t made by the audience. It means that if this filmmaker didn’t do it, it either wouldn’t exist at all, or it wouldn’t exist in anything like this form."

Last time I was in Portland, I saw a dude on a high-wheel bike with a knitted beanie/scarf thingy for his beard. Lol.

I also saw a homeless man collecting beer cans. All the beers he had in his shopping cart were PBR. I was watching this from a balcony while sipping Chai tea, not too far from a street with the name of a Simpsons character.

Man. I miss that place, haha.

It’s a Bright Eyes kind of day.

I miss hanging out with you :(

Let’s get drunk because fuck responsibilities.

I disabled my Facebook, but now I can’t log into my Spotify. And I’m too lazy to make another account for it. FUCK.
